What's the difference between a dentist Invisalign plan and an orthodontist Invisalign plan?
An orthodontist is a dentist who has completed additional years of specialized training. Orthodontists move teeth every day while general dentists might see a few orthodontic patients each week or month. Usually treatment with an orthodontist will be a lower or similar cost but shorter in duration due to the efficiencies in their office and expertise.
Ultimately, whether you choose an orthodontist or a general dentist for Invisalign will depend on your personal preference.
What if I'm not a candidate for Invisalign?
Here, you are an Invisalign candidate! Dr. Chan has extensive training in clear aligners and can treat almost any smile or bite with it.
Is Invisalign more expensive?
Typically, Invisalign is the same price or cheaper! If you have mild crowding or relapse due to a lost or broken retainer, we can provide limited treatment plans.
Is Invisalign for adults only?
Absolutely not! We have many kids and teens who we treat with Invisalign.
How long will Invisalign treatment take?
Depending on the complexity of your treatment plan, treatment can last anywhere from 3 months to a couple years. If you are trying to achieve your smile before a certain event or deadline, Dr. Chan can come up with a customized treatment plan.
