Meet Dr. Victor Chan
Growing up the youngest of three in Orlando, Florida with a family doctor father and a pharmacist mother, Dr. Chan knew he wanted to improve the lives of patients. As an expert Sarasota Invisalign dentist and orthodontist, Dr. Chan is dedicated to crafting beautiful smiles, straightening teeth, and creating healthy bites.
Dr. Chan spent three years at the University of Florida (Go Gators!), where he achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA for his Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences and a double major in Chemistry.
It was there he met his wife, Stephanie, as tour guides and official ambassadors of the University of Florida, hosting guests of the UF President and five-star football recruits. Honored to stay a gator, Dr. Chan continued at the prestigious University of Florida College of Dentistry to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), graduating at the top of his class. Serving as Class President and leading dental mission trips to the Dominican Republic instilled in him the importance in giving back to the community.
Sarasota Orthodontist
Dr. Chan was accepted as one of four residents to the most competitive residency program in the United States, Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Orthodontics. Becoming an orthodontic specialist with a Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Orthodontics was a dream come true, allowing him to care for his adult and pediatric patients with honed skills in the art and science of orthodontics. He is a top Sarasota Invisalign dentist and orthodontist!

Family Man
Beyond orthodontics, Dr. Chan cares deeply about the Sarasota community. Dr. Chan and Stephanie were married at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church. Stephanie is a graduate of Gulf Gate Elementary and Pine View, so it is their mission to actively participate in Sarasota County Public and Private Schools initiatives and charities. Their parents own the Village Café on Siesta Key and have been members of the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce for over 20 years. Whether he’s volunteering at their church or sponsoring youth sports teams, Dr. Chan is dedicated to making a positive impact in Sarasota and nurturing strong bonds within the community.
Fisherman and Health Nut
Dr. Chan finds solace in fishing and weightlifting. With a passion for angling, he often retreats to Sarasota inlets or New Smyrna beach with his father and brother, finding a sense of peace and connection with nature. Additionally, Dr. Chan is an avid weight lifter, channeling his determination and discipline from the gym into his professional endeavors, ensuring that he approaches every smile with focus and precision. These hobbies not only enrich Dr. Chan’s life but also contribute to his well-being, allowing him to serve his patients with renewed energy.
